This page will keep growing over time, so check back as we add more guides, activities and local knowledge.

For schools and groups

Whangamatā Harbour is an amazing outdoor classroom. Bird counting, shorebird observation, pest control, planting and habitat restoration can all help students connect science learning with the places they know.

If your school or group would like to learn more about Whangamatā Harbour Care, please get in touch.
