Rats are everywhere
You're rarely more than 50 metres from a rat in urban or suburban New Zealand.
While you’re away, the rats will play! With your pipes, the wiring in your house and your vehicles.
They also pose a serious threat to our native birds, preying on eggs and nestlings - putting breeding birds at risk.
Whangamatā Harbour Care can help.
We can supply:
-
Humane traps in wooden boxes, safe for pets and small children
-
Bait stations with approved poisons locked away from small hands or paws
We can also service your traps or bait stations if you aren’t able to do this yourself.
All this in return for a donation which allows Whangamatā Harbour Care to continue our environmental work in the greater Whangamatā area. Prices start at $20 for a trap or bait station, and $100 for annual servicing.
Give us a call before there’s major damage and you need to call in a tradie.
